£18.00 plus 1kg of plastic saved from the ocean
We all grew up with the stories of Robin Hood and his band of merry men, as they took from the rich and gave to the poor. Their home was out in the wild of Sherwood forest, protected by the trees and the outlaws who resided within. Although the forest is now much, much smaller. It used to span from the North of Nottingham 25 miles north towards the outskirts of Worksop giving Robin all the space in the world to hide from those who wanted to capture him.
Your challenge, if you dare accept it, is to cover the distance of the perimeter of the original forest, 91.4 miles. This event is an accumulator which means you do not need to cover the distance in one go. Take your time to complete it as you enjoy the scenery of your own local routes. As you progress along your route you will unlock facts and stories you may not have known about our intrepid outlaw, and you can track all of your runs in your own accumulator area!
All of this and the fact that Sherwood forest is just around the corner from Rasselbock HQ, it’s an accumulator that you don’t want to miss!
As always, only runs after your sign-up date can be counted.
